Newer forks for 1980 kz750h???

Ok...I've searched and browsed for hours now, and don't really have a solid answer for my frame in-particular.

I'd like to upgrade my whole front end...forks/triple/brakes/clip-ons, etc.

What Front End should I be searching for?
either inverted or regular

Thanks for the help

i am of no help on telling you exactly which front end to buy.
however i can possibly shed some light on what you need to know.are you currently running the header that you plan to run for awhile?

sportbike front ends can vary in length and there is usually the drop in rim dia. down to 17" from whatever you have.

so my advice would be to figure out how low you are willing to go and start looking for a front end that does not lose to much ride height from where you want to be.

most any 600 or 1000 cc hondayamakawazuki front end can be made to work.
look for as complete a front end as you can get brakes wheels fender(even if you dont like it,it is a functional fender)the whole deal.

then you will need to convert the sport bike front end over to your stem.i can help you with that if needed.

Here's what I've got going on so far...

got plenty of room underneath. My buddy has the same bike with a 1983 zx6 front end. 37mm forks so he honed his triple 1mm to fit, but they look great. I'd really like to explore my options for a newer/inverted look...what do you mean you can help, btw? Do you make custom trees or something like that???

I belive old Gixxers 1100 from mid-90's had pretty long USD forks, so they should fit for the right clearance. If you're not going to mess with the rear suspension to make it lower, you'll need something that matches the hight of the rear part of the bike. I'd look for older Gixxers or FZR 1000.
Is there a reason, you got the forks assembled this way? For the ol' school looks?
