twisted off rear brake bleeder was created by Fastdave61
I twisted off the bleeder on the rear brake caliper of my '80 G (classic). Then I proceeded to drill it out, inserted a "easy out" and snapped that off. Any ideas?
- Drill it out , tap it and install a bigger Bleeder?
- Throw it in the trash can and buy another caliper?
If you detect a note of irritation, your right!

If you have a machine shop in your town with an EDM, they can burn the easy out, and bleeder out of the hole for you. It might just be cheaper to get a new caliper. I have one for sale in the classified section. It's $5 plus shipping, but will need to be rebuilt. It is from a 1978 A2 model so I'm not sure if it will fit your bike. Send me a pm if you are interested in mine.

Thanks T, there is a good machine shop here, I'll try that first. I'll get back to you if this doesn't work out.

Just be prepared for sticker shock. EDM shops tend to charge top dollar for their services. Good luck!

I did the exact same thing with one of mine, I just trashed it. First I smashed it with a sledge though, made me feel better
