blown rear shock was created by hal0tw0
Hello,
upon doing some winter maintainence on the bike I noticed one of my rear shocks is completely blown, no compression resistance at all. My question is pretty dumb maybe but what is the worst that could have happen when riding like that? Thinking of how the bike has dual shocks back there would it just have been a rougher ride? or some real handling danger?
Sorry for a dumb concern. I do plan on replacing them anyways.

every little bump will feel like a sledge hammer to your ass, you may bottom out and hit the tire into your fender especially with a passenger, you might scrape up that RC pipe, and your swingarm may do funny things under load with only one good shock(giving more rigidity to only one side). It's really best to just put a different shock on it and be safe.
