I NEED SOMEONE IN CALIFORNIA!!!!!!!!!!

I want to get a Corbin seat for my 650. Of course they don't make one to fit it. I am in Maine and the ride is service won't quite make it. I have called the factory and they say they can't make a seat if I send them my seat and pan.
If there is anyone near the factory in, Hollister, CA. with a 78 they say that they can make the seat using your bike and then ship it to me.
If anyone is interested in making a few bucks doing this let me know.

Les, You may color my nose brown if you like, But.. Offer this, Corbin Is a "big" co. & makes it's living by pumping out "lot's o' seats". the time spent turning out a 1 "off" seat for a 30 + year old bike really isn't practical. I'm surprised they offer a "recovering" service (abet at @ 70 %) of new. for their "long gone" seats.. and to build a "new seat" to fit. Goofy. If it means that much to you, "go for it" On the other hand, If you can buy a "barko-lounger" King/Queen seat. & trim it to what you "really" want, I imagine they would cover it w/out bike. As would many "automotive upholsty shops", & most likely you would be "happier" with end result. luck g

Thanks for the reply Gane. I've been thinking that too, but the price they quoted me is the same as the price of the KZ1000 seat which is fine with me.

These guys are in england, quoted me 180 pounds or so for a new seat for a kz650.
