frame question

hello, i am wondering if the frame is made out of steel or aluminum. i am thinking steel. please let me know if the is right. i plan on doing some welding and need to know what it is made of. thanks for the help.

1980 kz550 38,500 miles basket case ( soon to be a BOBBER )

1983 kz550 9,600 miles

1988 jeep grand wagoneer 144,500 miles 4 mpg
