The frame numbers start KZ900C

I am looking for specific info on this bike. It is totally disassembled to rebuild. It came from the West Virginia State Highway Patrol auction.

The cylinder says 903cc but the engine is actually 1015cc and like new inside.

Any info would help.

The KZ900-C1 was assembled in Lincoln, Nebraska. All the frame numbers start with KZ900C-5xxxxx

There are a few of these bikes out there - but not many. There is one locally from the Manlius NY Police Department. Similar setup to the Z1P bikes.

I don;t have a picture of a KZ900C, but from an equipment perspective, it would be very much like this Z1P model.

When I purchased this bike it was setup for dragracing. I added the 07 HD softail classic complete front end and rear tire. The swingarm was on the bike when I purchased it from the West Virginia State Highway Patrol. The actual engine is 1168cc, welded and balanced crank, new connecting rods and bearings and pistons, backcut trans, air shift, disc disc brake setup on aftermarket wheel that I put on another build. Its a 76 KZ1000/1320cc drag rat bike.
