rear end swap
24 Jan 2011 17:57
I just bought a KZ1000 i believe p its and 81 police ediotion. I boguht for the chain drive so i can do an easy swap now im tryiong to find one that will fit. I am trying to build a cafe with old school motor but new suspension. I have already FOund a gsxr front end to fit and am looking at a ZRX 1200R rear end. I was wondering if it will fit well. I originally wanted to do a mono shock but think this may be best. If anyone has some input it would be greatly appreciated.

Before the wolves get you I would suggest trying the search function. There are several people here that have ongoing threads on these types of builds and you will most certainly find most of the answers you need if you read these first. And welcome to KZR.

I have heard (can't remember where at the moment) that the ZRX1100 swingarm is a better fit than the ZRX1200 in the Kz chassis because it is narrower.
