Have you considered purchasing a used LTD seat from eBay, shaving off an inch or so of padding, and recovering the seat?...it'll be so much less expensive.

The answer depends on quite a few things. Is the rest of the suspension stock? What type of exhaust system is on the bike? How much do you weigh? Passengers? Luggage? Road conditions? Two inches is quite a bit considering how little suspesion travel there was to start with. It may also create problems by putting the swingarm at an odd agle - rear jacking under acceleration et cetera.
Replacing the seat foam with some firmer and thinner stuff may help, but I'm not sure there is much to gain there as the facotry foam was not very thick and it compresses a bunch.

it is hard to tell from the picture but the bike is already lowered with stuts.....ouch, and front springs that have been cut. (look at the room of play in the fork) I am looking at raising it from current. I am wondering if racetech is the way to go? I have a guy localy that can do it. they both want about 700.00 and finished will be 2'' from org. I am looking at a set of rebuild and cut KONI's on the back and new springs to fit for the front.
as far as pipes nothing is the way and I am a old fat guy 205lb, that wants to take a turn like I did a long time ago but not to be afraid to do it.
I am going to try to put in a better picture but not sure it will work.
