Progressive springs

I have a new set of 1976 KZ900LTD front fork progressive springs. I want to use them on a 1977 KZ650. Does anyone know if these are comparable?
Take it from me cuz I found
If you leave it then somebody else is bound,
To find that treasure, that moment of pleasure,
When yours, it could have been.

They will be longer than the 650 springs...not sure on the exact length, though.

They will either be the same length, or one inch longer than the 650 springs.
