sidewinder exzaust

hey guys. was thinking of keeping my bike as low as possible because im short, and using sidewinder pipes. do they come into play when making right turns? are they just meant for going straight on drag bikes?

yeah right turns get interesting. I have a regular V&H and my bike is lowered and that makes turning right a fun time. Anything over about 35 on a cloverleaf and it'll drag header.:ohmy:

Depending on how much you lower it.If it is lasmed on the ground yes turning to the right can be tricky.

You just wait til the header grounds and lifts the rear tire off the ground. Then you shift your weight quickly and suddenly which will swing tire out. Then sit upright suddenly and when bike comes off header and rear tire contacts ground again, gas it and off you go. Sorta like a berm shot but you are just squaring off the corner. Easy! :ohmy: :whistle:

or dirt track it and go left all the time.bj

I think you left out the part about the broken shoulder.

so what i am hearing is the sidewinder exhaust is drag bike only?

That was definitely the intent by V&H. No baffle makes things interesting too.

you can use them just have to have atleast ,? say 5 in g/c but you can do it lol i do
