progressive,works,ohlins

What is your weight,inseam?
The st is a tall and heavy bike.
I like a 13 in. shock with a softer spring.
Ride comfort and handling is improved.
With a stiffer spring the shock is near full extention most of the time and the tire will lose contact with the road.
But you can not go to soft or you will bottom out,you will need stiffer compression dampning on the shock.

Also you can raise the forks about an in.
Only one side at a time, tighten that side back up to factory specs, then the other side

That about the same as mine.
I have good results with progressive series 12 13" shocks and the 90/130 springs.
If need be preload can be increased with the adjusters.
Progressive also makes an 11.5" shock but it takes a shorter spring.
