Where to find seats for 79 kz 1000???

hey guys whats up? wanting to know where to find some seats for 79 kz 1000 not a stock seat, nice custom seats????? thanks

I remember seeing some places on the internet that specialize in seat covers, as fancy as you want. problem is, you have to ship them the seat and wait for months. I ended up taking my seat around town to upholstery shops until I found one that would cover it for a decent price. One pack of thieves quoted me $550 for a recovery but the place that did it only charged about $200 which is pretty good for a long, dual position seat with molded in butt rests. They did a great job.

What KZ1000 do you own? Kawasaki made 4 variants that 1979 year model.

You have a 1979 KZ1000B3 aka LTD 1000. Corbin seats have been mentioned...any LTD 1000 seat from a 1977-1980 KZ1000B model will fit as a drop-on...also 1977/78 KZ1000A1/A2 standard model will drop-on. The 550 seat will not fit.
