I ran into the same issue awhile back bj. Monroe/Tenneco bought out Marzocchi and I was unable to locate rebuild components. I sold the shocks before I found anything, but the fellow I sold them to here locally might have found something so I'll give him a ring tomorrow to see.

Works and Race Tech will rebuild the KYBs that come on the ZRX, maybe you should give them a call about your Marzocchis.

BJ, if I where you, I would go ahead and tear into them. You have nothing to lose, and often, if you're careful you can save the seals. They are bathed in oil and well protected. I recently did a write up on my rebuild of a mono-shock. Slightly different, but since the Marzocchis have a piggyback reservoir they should be largely the same design. I didn't need to replace any of my seals. You may be able to locate rubber parts by contacting Race Tech. Here's the link to my mono-shock rebuild thread if you think it might help:

Hello bj...I also picked up a set of Marzocchi shocks a while ago. Mine are also in very good shape. I think I can help you with the rebuild kit. If you can determine the model of your shocks...mine are Strada (I have also downloaded the rebuild instructions) rebuild kits may still be available. I just ordered mine from the following (but have not yet arrived).

Thanks guys for all the assistance.Ya'll are numero uno in my book.My shocks look like the Strada, but the preload adjuster is on the side of the piggyback can,,not the top. Also,I did locate finally a UK site that had the repair kits, but they only had them for the Strada. So I guess I will call Race Tech and see if they can assist. Thanks again for all the great help.P.S. I had a set of Progressive shocks that came off my KZ when I put the GS swingarm on it.I put them on the Radian today so at least I can ride while rebuilding the Marzocchis.bj

One more question.Do any of u guys that own/run Marzocchi know what air pressure to run in the cans?I tried 20 psi and it didnt seem to affect anything.I guess if the seals were leaking, the air was escaping about as fast as I was putting it in.bj
