rear suspension mod? lowered??? was created by lowie182
hey eveyone,
i am in no way an expert just like most people here. but i have gotten myself into owning 2 KZ550-C's and noticed on the parts bike (More of cafe wanna-be) i noticed that the rear suspension is in a totally different angle and bolted to a new spot. it looks sturdy n all. let me know what i should know about this, sense im sure this was not a factory option lol.
thanks
-john

Non-stock angle is likely unbearably harsh riding, akin to the "lowering blocks" sometimes fitted (usually only once).

x2,plus unless those purty pink shocks are in really great shape, doesnt look like they would control much at that angle.bj

yeah thats kinda what i figured. they are freakin pretty tho lol they remind me of a wanna-be HKS shock hahahahaha. the fronts are the pink/purple aswell. too bad there all blown on that bike. still kinda like the lowered look and i have ridden a few hardtails, its not like there unbearable lol.
thanks for input. would these so called "lowering blocks" be legit? think they will hold up?
thanks again
