2001 kz1000p front fork size?

Was curious if anybody knows what the front fork size is for a 2001 kz1000p?

Also, If I had to measure it, where would I measure this at?

38mm, according to the Ohio Cafe Racers fork tube size pdf for the 78-81 KZ1000-C & 82-01 KZ1000-P Police models.

Measure the upper fork tube OD.
