Does this auction seem a little screwy or are these seat really that costly and hard to find?

Hmmm...the seat does not appear to be in good shape...it appears to be oddly deformed. And yes, it is way overpriced...note that there are three so so bidders, all with low numbers... = novice bidders who may not realize that LTD seats can be had (with a bit of patience) much cheaper on eBay.

It's not even an original seat. It's recovered for sure. Not worth more than $100 any way you look at it.

321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.

Boy! I'd rather roll up a throw rug and use it for a seat than to pay $250 for that thing. Some seller think buyers will pay anything. Maybe they're right, but I never had any success selling stuff for more than it's worth.

That much, and not knowing for sure how old the covering (vinyl & thread)is,not that good, if you have a good seat pan now (foam can be added if needed, can you could even use the NEW generations of foam: memory, open cell, ect)buy a ready made cover, or have local shop recover for you,all cheaper than 250washingtons. regards Duke

Its worth whatever a buyer will pay for it-and it appears that 3 buyers are willing to pay more than 100 pesadas for it.thats what makes Ebay what it is.what we think it is or isnt worth means nada unless u want to get in on the bidding.bj

Too funny, that seat is worth no more than 25.00, I sold my original 1980 LTD KZ1000 (B4 model) seat for 75.00 on Fleabay, I thought that was a fair price, there were a couple small tears in the seam, the bottom pan was rust free, I did not want to spend the money to have it recovered....I purchased the same seat "recovered" for less than 60.00 (plus shipping)
