What's a Vetter full fairing worth?

The only thing Id do with that fairing is shoot it with my 12gauge then run it over with my klr650 then do a burnout onit with my Z1R then use it to start a fire to cook up fresh grouse.I feel this would be to right thing to do with this fairing

If you keep the light then cover the rest in gasoline amd set it on fire and post a vid Ill send you $20

You could probably get something for the lowers. Not a great expense on shipping. You might get 40 for the fairing, who knows. Clean it up and put it on ebay and see what happens. The bracket will bring some money to as they are hard to find unless its a Goldwing bracket

I'd probably take Jeff up on the $20 bucks but you know one man's trash is another man's treasure. Just don't know whose treasure this would be.

If it were washed it would probably look halfway decent. But then who want's a Vetter fairing? Not me. They aren't that popular on Oahu, where a "long" ride is 100 miles around the island.

Vter Bob sent me a private message asking about the saddlebags. I'm trying to send him a message back and getting an error message "invalid security code" but there's no box to put a security code.

So maybe Bob will read this thread again.

Here are the (ugly) saddlebags. Let me know if you want them or not. I looked at the tags on the bike and the last time it was registered was 1983. Been sitting in someone's backyard for 27 years.

Thanks for posting up the pics. Those are not Vetter bags. They might be Bates, I'm not sure. I'm looking for a set of Vetter bags to match the Vetter top box I have on the bike now. I hope you find a home for them besides the landfill.

Bob, come to think of it the metal brackets said Bates on them. Anyways, no problem. I would rather give them away (plus postage and handling) than put them in the trash. Seeing as nobody wants them, they're going in the trash.

Hey Mike,

I have a buddy that took a pair of bags similar to those and gave them a quick coat of paint then mounted them to his beach chair. Fills one side with ice and delicious adult beverages and the other side with chips and pretzels.

Sold this one for 75 bucks...off a 79 kz 650...i guess try to clean the fairing up and get some beer money.... try craigslist too
