jim might be right...they looked like a type of S&W street shocks to me..with the part normally painted yellow on the s&w's repainted red,then i found that pic of red prgressive...but if you look close the progressive have dual rate springs in seperate sections 2/3 down...


they are S&W or mooohlllands...sp :P

If they are aftermarket, they will be clearly marked with brand. They may also be OE Kawasaki. The ones on my Z1R and my 1300 looked like that also.

Pull off the springs and the chaffing sleeve and check for markings.
