No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationLooking for a Kawasaki emblem for my tank. I have one nice one but need another. After getting back my newly painted tank from Mark I decided to go for the older emblems which I like much nicer. I came across some new ones on ebay but it says KZ650SR. Part numbers appear to be different and I was wondering if there are different emblems? Is there a difference in screw spacing? Thanks for your input! :)

You might try the Z1 Enterprises website. They seem to have many emblems.

It may be that the SR tank is shaped differently than the C or B tanks. The Left and Right side tank emblems on the B and C models have different part numbers. I assume that's because the orientation of the emblems (K forward on the left side / K rearward on the right side) require them to be shaped differenly to match the contour of the tank. I don't know what happens if you try to put a right side emblem on the left side of the tank or vise versa; maybe they wouln't lay tight on the tank or they might crack? Ed

Maybe, but I can switch my emblems side to side and I have the recess in the tank. I thought I heard something about screw hole spacing being different. I would think Ma Kawasaki would use same on all models for production costs. I'd like to buy those emblems (good price for new in box) but don't want emblems that don't fit. :)

Not all emblems are created equal. With my repro emblems I need to be an artist with profecient use of tiny brushes, which I am not. :)

Kawasaki used two main spacings for the tank emblem screw holes.

140mm is the most popular - these are found on a range of different emblems.

122mm was on the 1973 Z1 and some of the LTD and Z1R models.

On our web site we list the center-to-center measurements.

The ebay emblems have jagged/bumpy edges because of the lettering where as the all caps emblem on your tank have smooth straight edges.

Good eye Rick! Never noticed that. I'd like to gets straight one to match min. Z1 has the uneven ones for $12.00 each which means I can get two brand new ones for $30 shipped! I just wonder how these emems will fill in the depression in the tank? Think it will look OK? The straight ones fit perfectly in the depression.
