kz1000 rotors on 650c?
12 Apr 2006 21:39
i put a set of kz1000ltd drilled rotors on my 650 and realized that the 650 calipers don't fit on the new rotors? it looks like the spokes (black parts?) are longer. is there a way to solve this problem. can i use the 1000 calipers or are the forks different? plese help this bike will be ready soon and i don't want this to keep me off the road? thanks in advance for your help.

I just did mine. I used 100 calipers as well. The 1000 rotors are also thicker than the 650 rotors, so I don't think the 650 calipers will work anyway. But they came out so strong that now my fork is bottoming out. I guess new fork springs are in my future.
