I have a new KZ900 fuel tank for my bike and the cap to go with it. This is all ca. 1975 replacement stuff. The cap is one of those that does not have a key and the latch is spring loaded. I assume the spring must be compressed when installed under the latch.
Trouble is I cannot figure out how to get latch on there with the spring all at the same time!
Is there a trick to this? Am I making this harder than it should be?
Has anyone done this before and can assist?
