Fork question........pressed in piece?

Ordered a new set of forks from 'Frank'. Have mine disassembled, sending the sliders out for paint. There is a piece at the bottom of each tube that appears to be pressed in. It's not shown in any parts list either, only the tube. I don't know if these are coming with the new ones. Do I press these out or are they coming with the new tubes from Frank ?
