Steering Bearing Seals

I got a set of Stainless bearings for my 82 1000 ltd, from ZI enterprizes.. they are closed right now, but there were no seals with them and I can't find where they sell them on the sight..

I guess my guestion is. Do I need the grease seals? If I do, does anyone know where to get them?

I saw some with a set of bearings, but the ones I got didn't come with any.

Can someone please help me?

Roller bearings or ball bearings?

If you are careful when you remove the bottom race from the stem you can reuse it. I did anyways with tapered bearings on my 650 and my 900

Hey thanks for the info.. I talk to an ol' big Kawi guy her local and he said the seals are not necessary. I just might have to do some maintaince more often.. I am good with that..
Now, all I have to do is get the stem bearing off and putter back together..

Oh by the way, they are tapered bearing..

Yep, the tapered bearings don't come with seals...don't need them.
