Holes in mag wheels?

Was out test riding my 78 KZ650 today after some troubleshooting. Tire starts to go flat so I limp her home and find that there is air leaking out to 2 holes in the rim that look like extra valve stem holes. I have the black mag wheels and the tire says tubeless. Is there a plug for these or should I just buy a tube and tube tire?

I have a '80 KZ1000 that has the black mags and I have tubes with tubeless tires. Look on the rims. If they are tubeless, it will say so on the rim. I do believe you will need tubes. Doesnt matter what the tire is though, tube or tubeless will work but with a tube.

The extra two holes are for rim locks that hold the tire to the rim.

If you have two extra holes in the rims, they would only be on the rear mag. Those are made to install "rim locks" Those are not tubeless rims and must be run with a tube. If you do not have the rim locks installed, you must put a plate over them on the inside otherwise the tube will burst threw them, also water will get into the rim and corrode it from the inside. Rims until 1979/80 had those. After that they made them into tubeless tire rims.

Thanks guys! Kind of what I thought, it was pretty close to time for a new tire so while I'm putting a tube on might as well do the tire.
