Thanks for the info.
Your bike looks great, your concept is not all that different than what I have in mind. You seem to have gone for upgraded performance while keeping the bike somewhat retro. I've bought a bunch of cool parts over the last 5 years about it's time to start using some of them.
I'm looking to start with a 650 chassis and add ZR550 running gear (forks, swingarm, brakes,Rr wheel,18" Concours Fr wheel),Ohlins shocks,Kerker. All stuff I have sitting around. The only piece of sacrilige on this project for the KZ crowd will be the motor........I have a Katana/GSXR750 air/oil coiled motor I bought a while ago that I want to use. It should easily make 90hp stock. The motor is the main reason I am looking to use a 650 chassis instead of a 550. I know that it will go into a 550, but it looks crowded.
1st pic is of a bike I found on a Euro KZ site, I want to end up with something very similar :
2nd pic is a GSXR/GPz550 I found a pic of also:

i need help fast, the way you have set up your mono shock i done the same but iv been told by someone in the twin forum
"If I interprete your monoshock-system well, I expect it wouldnt work. With this geometric you dont have a progressive system, it would be degressive and by a deep movement of the rear swingarm it would collapse. The Geometric should be of the type, that a up-moving swingarm an increasing force against the movement produces. Your geometric system doesnt it."
pics of what i showed

The GPz550/GSXR motor bike is just something That I found a picture of. I didnt build it.
It looks like you have to raise your lower shock mount so that it would be positioned above the chord line from the rear axle to the top shock mount, and that the lower mounting point of the shock would never drop below the chord line, even at full compression.
