Need help with wheels on my 650 Cafe was created by chef otto
Hi and thanks in advance to anyone who can help.
I am building a cafe racer from my 81 kz650. It has the stock 16" rim on the rear and a 19" on the front. I want to change the front tire to a 16 or 17" rim for better handling and looks. I want to keep the brakes if possible and keep both wheels with spokes. If I keep the same 1.85 width can I just swap the front? Am I better off going to a larger rear rim and keeping the front. Would it be that much better changing both? If I had to change the hub and brakes on the front I would like to go with a dual disk set up?
