kz650 Brake resivor cap

I don’t post on here often because I don’t modify my KZ at all. I build all kinds of bikes for fun but this is my daily driver. With a little over 31,000 miles since last June (11 months) this girl has been treating me right. I work for a school district and yesterday my side cover was off and some punk kid came and took my master cyl. Brake lid!!!

So naturally I need to find a kz650 rear Brake reservoir cap. It’s actually for a 1979 D2 KZ650 or "SR650" Where is the best place to find this without buying the entire rear master cyl. or without just the cap alone costing the same price as the whole master cyl? I checked EBay and Z1 enterprises but no luck. Will an aluminum cap from a 78 KZ thread onto my master cyl?
