caliper wear

Doing a bit of routine maintenance this AM and in the process decided to mike the calipers.Rear is at 7mm,both fronts at 5mm.Rear caliper is scribed for 6mm minimum thickness before replacement, but fronts have no such marking. I think I read somewhere that fronts limit is 4mm but not sure.Anyone know? Also, when replacement time comes, what is everyone using?OEM Kawi or something else?.Many thanks.bj

4.5mm for dual disc rotors,if your calipers get down to 5mm youve got bigger problems!

break the bolts loose while the wheels are still on the bike so you can use the brakes to hold the wheels from spinning B)
