heres the frame for my dragbike. we just finished raking the front end 12.5 degrees to reach 38.5 degrees. stretched the length of the wheelbase 4" in doing so.

my father in law came up with the set up and it works really trick!

wow this is what i been lookign for. im impressed thats a killer way to get the rake. i do have some ?'s casuse i just started a bobber project that im wanting to take out a bit but wasent sure how i would do . whatd you do heat up the backbone and verticle tubes while tighning the nut or did u have to cut and weld them to. jw any more info u could help me out iwth would be cool pm me .

are you going to run a backbone/fuel tank? i dont think a stock tank is gonna clear that one B)

thanks for the comments guys. we are putting in a fuel cell back bone so no worries on factory tank fitment.

as for the process we used, we cut out the back bone, welded in a few temporary plates to hold everything from distorting, made some relief cuts to avoid kinking the tubes, then heated it up, and slowly tighten the nut to bring it back to our desired angle.

the set up is nice because you have full control of the angle forward or back. The front block is set at wheel height exactly and we have a rod on bearings through the swingarm holes so everything just sorta "slid" back on the bearings and kept the same height.

the bike is still perfectly true, no twist or bending anywhere.

looks like a real easy way to keep everthing square.i was wondering if you ever got that bike together. hadn't heard anything from you in a long time. have you got a ride together for this season. or are you just waiting until this one is done.

haha ya i kinda fell off the map for a while timebomb. had a lot going onj. so im hoping to have this one together and on the track this year at some point.
