swing arm ?

im looking at making my own swing arm or buying one thatll fit with some mods but i wanna some how put a bigger tire on the back. how can u do this and keep the chain adn sprocketin line with each other. lol just wondering i dont know what size u can get on a stock or anything but helpp me out probally gonna put the swing arm on a bike i plan on turing into a bober so itll be a hard tail

If it's going to be a hardtail why even use a swingarm...just rebuild the tail however wide you need it to be in steel tubing. You will have to get an offset sprocket to maintain chain line. If you do search for the offset sprocket you will find info

I'm not familiar with the 550's, but with tools and some skill, you can make anything work. As for the chain alignment, there are several companies that have either off the shelf offset counter sprockets or can make a custom one for you. It really comes down to how wild you want to get and how deep your pockets are. Do some searches and see what you like and read up on others experiences. I don't know what your building/ fabrication experience is, but judging by your post I'd say you're new to this. Right now, your best tool is information. ;)

yeah i have some ideas on how i wanan do things i just didnt know what other peoples ideas were or what otheres have tried. i think my fabricating skills are more then capable but i was just looking for some info to see if it was worth me doing anything
