Yes i gotta 81 550 and im gonna make a bobber ot of it. i know the forks are 36mm stock. what can i do and what forks can i use. im looking to rake it out alittle bit so im gonna probally need longer forks then what is on there now and can u fit any bigger forks through the trees other than 36 or is that the biggest. if u cant go bigger or no one makes a longer set of 36mm forks then can you buy a set of forks and treees that will bolt on. just a few question that i could use some help with let me know.

Forking by Frank . I'd guess he could make some in the desired length.

Here's a quote from a TWT topic - Forking By Frank :

...The springs arrived yesterday and the Frank's fork tubes came in today. The tubes are definitely heavier and have noticeably thicker walls. According to the digital scale the OEM tube weighs 3lbs 1.6oz and the Frank's unit is 3lbs 15oz. Just as Frank told me, the stock springs do not fit in the tubes but the new ones slide in just fine...
