82 550 LTD w/ superbike bars from Z1 - mirrors?

Hi everyone,
I have superbike bars on my 82 550 LTD and love them. They are shorter and have just a little bit of rise and pullback and I don't feel cramped at all. BUT...the mirrors I currently have (some black rectangle ones) are in need of replacement. I also have a very good view of my shoulders when riding. I am having a hard time picking out a decent looking mirror so I can still see around myself, but that still look decent. It's hard to do this with a small picture online. Anyone have any advice on this one?

I love the barend mirrors we put on my 82 550LTD!!!!
I can see everything, and they look hella better than those ugly "puppy dog ear" mirrors that I couldn't see out of to begin with!

The replica '81 GPz550 mirrors should work well....they do on a GPz w/superbike bars anyway. The same style also comes on quite a few Kaws from that era so they should be available. Pretty sure I saw them on Z!'s site. They are sort of a rounded rectangle shape. I have them on a few bike and they work well

I was kinda thinking something more cruiser looking. Something low profile, but wide enough I could still see. I was thinking chrome would be cool, but my controls are black, and that would look odd.

Do either of you have pics of what your mirrors look like? I'm kind of leaning towards the bar ends ones because I had a set on my departed 05 z1000 and like them.

OK, so I got the bar end mirrors. They look pretty good I think. But I have a new problem: When I tighten the throttle side mirror down tight enough that it doesn't move, it adds way to much resistance to my throttle. It must be expanding the handlebar just enough its squeezing the throttle from the inside. Anyone else have this issue?

I did too, but realized it was the end of the throttle grip rubbing on the bar end weight that my mirror is on. I put a little grease around the inside of the grip where it rubbed and problem solved. Although I kind of miss it because before it acted like cruise control so I could take my right hand and give it a stretch every so often without slowing down.
