I ran an aluminum one from Sprocket Specialists for about 25 k miles.

Got good life out of that! I was wondering what to expect from mine.

They are pretty good, but I don't like the $105 it would cost. That's too pricey for a sprocket.

Looks like $70 + shipping for a 35T

But I was going to include the "Titan Tough" hardening which they recommend to make it more durable. With tax and shipping, mine came to about $105.

Maybe, I just can't find anybody who stocks smaller-than-stock sizes. Always custom make = ridiculous price.

I've got a 26 tooth - 630 pitch - 80 mm center hole - aluminum. I used a 13 tooth front. It was wonderful around town, and got tremendous gas mileage when running up to about 65 MPH, but would load up my 650 too much when running faster on the highway.

I imagine a 1000 cc engine could handle it fairly well. I used the sprocket for about 5,000 miles and there is practically no wear showing. I attribute this to frequent chain oiling.
