Seat Bag
23 Apr 2010 18:31
Anyone have a suggestion for a bag that I can rest on my seat and attach to the grab rail with bungee cords? I have a small T-Bag for my Harley that is great, but I cannot use it on the KZ without a sissy bar. Just doesn't set right. Thanks.

i just bought a tail bag for my zx-11 from an out fit called rapid transit it has 2 bungie cords built in to the bottom andholds quite a bit of stuff it fits real nice on the back of the seat the bungie cords use plastic hooks so the wont mess up your paint to bad if it touchs.

I bought the
Cortech by Tour Master Cortech Tail Bag
some years ago and it attaches very well to the grab bars. The only knock I have it is that it will flop over onto the tail section if it's not completely full, but I think that will affect most soft luggage. There is also
a companion saddlebag set that is of the same style
.

I use a Nelson Rigg bag from new enough. Cost about 60.00 but it will hold a full size helmet plus extras. Also is rigid enough to keep its shape while empty.

I got the Wolfman Wolf tail bag for the wife's bike.
www.motostrano.com/wowota.html
You can't beat this bag. It's made in the USA and has great quality including nice straps you can configure to your liking. I'm sure there are cheaper bags out there as we all just love our Chinese friends, but if you want something a little better consider the Wolf.
If you don't want to spend the money even on Chinese, just bungee on a square cardboard box. Believe it or not, for over 20 years that's what I've used.

321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.
