OPINIONS PLEASE

looking for opinions expert or not.just bought a complete front end and as it turns out the lower tripple is bent.just bought another one off e bay. only issue is bike was in a fire.got tripple home and not sure if I want to use it or not.all bolts still thread in and out and no melted aluminum.should I try to use or, pony up and buy another?

could you break a end wrench after it had been in a fire...or a shovel head......or a piece of 3/4 galvanized or just steel plumbing pipe ??????
are you gonna hual ass from the gate or ride and re-check....
imo......it is soft steel(probably not soft..correction edit) and would not crystalize....hey i'm no metalurgist ...but i get 9/10 on every cash cab questions set.....bout stuff i did not even know i knew:woohoo: .....good luck

Sorta depends on how hot the fire was and how it was put out. If the fire was a raging gasoline variety and the part was red hot (or hotter) and someone hit it with cold water putting out the fire I suppose it's possible it could have been made brittle. Seems like that would have been a heck of a fire though. Ed
