Mounting a Police Seat to a non-police bike.

I thought that a 1000P model seat would work well as a solo seat on my 750. A member offered to sell me one and sent pictures. I didn't realize how it mounted. I assumed it mounted like a regular seat with the side hinges.

Has anyone mounted a Police seat to a non-police bike? How much fabrication is involved? Does anyone have any pictures of the mounting points on the P bike?
