Tires -- tube rims w/ latest style tubeless tires

Will it work & is it recommended? I just do not know a lot about this stuff.

Edit: I think I misunderstood.
But I'll go ahead & say you can use a tube in a tubeless tire.
I put GT501s w tubes on my 81 CSR.

Depends on what you mean by "latest style." Do not use radial tires with tubes. Other tubeless tires work fine. Here's what I use on my KZ650C1 (with Metzeler tubes as recommended by Pirelli):

If your gonna run tubless on old mags like Kawasaki made for the Z1Rs that where intended to use tubes.Give the inside of the rim a coat of paint.Some of the old castings are a little pouros and will slowly leak air
