A mechanic at my local Kawasaki Dealership told me that the Police motorcycles had different sprocket ratios for innercity pursuit bikes than Highway Patrol bikes. I have a 1979 KZ1000 C2 with a stock ratio. Anyone know of this? Any source of information on what ratio was often used for Highway Patrol?
