Struts or shocks? was created by boogy699
I have a 78 kz1000 that is too low to the ground. I was wondering if anyone knew of any other bikes or aftermarkets that will bolt right up to raise it or should I put some struts in?

I suggest you remove 1 shock and measure it eye-to-eye. It's possible the previous owner replaced the shocks with something short to lower it. Post the length of the shock after measuring and I'm sure folks on this site can tell you what shocks will correct the ride height. I wouldn't put struts on it if you plan to actually ride it Ed

Yeah, unless your like 6'6", I can't see needing "longer" than stock shocks... but you can find longer shocks, if you need them!
