kz 1000 lowering blocks

I need to know if lowering blocks are practical and safe. If so where I can find them. Thanks.

e-bay might be your best bet to find them.
but i would look into progressive shocks or sportster shocks
or something with a shorter eye to eye lenth.

Does the sportster have the same eye size as the kz 1000?

My 1976 has lowering blocks that were on the bike when I bought it. When compared to the ride on my 1980, the 76 is definitely a rough ride. I'm assuming that its because you change the angle of the shock and it loses some of its ability to travel properly.
