I'll measure the discs tomorrow. You can just go tube less in a Z1R wheel. The only problem with that wheel would be it might un-bead the tyre if you get a front flat. I've gone tubeless on my 650 with tube type mags in the past.

Thanks, Mark. I appreciate you taking some time for this.

Since I've got your ear, I saw an old post where you had mentioned that you were considering getting kosman to widen a rear wheel. Did you ever do this? My plan is to get a 16" LTD wheel welded up to 17" for the rear.

Thanks,

Joey

Sorry I didn't measure the discs yet and no I haven't got around to sending out my rear wheel yet. I'm still thinking about getting it done but may do it at a friends shop.

Dr whizbang.

Not sure if you are still active with this idea but I have taken some of the measurements that you are looking for as part of a project that I'm doing.

The discs are about 135mm at the outside on the "P" wheel. Thats probabaly 10mm wider than a 650 (I don't have a 650, but my 550 and 750 are both 125mm). The axle is 15mm, that should be the same as what you have.

The 1300 wheel also is 135mm at the discs, but has a 17mm axle.

Rotor diam is somewhere near 298mm on both the 1300 and Police wheel.

P wheel is 2.15" wide and 1300 wheel is 2.5", both are tubeless type.

I have an '81 GPz550 that I putting a P front end w/1300 wheel and P rear wheel on.

Good luck if you are still trying, Hope this is of some help
