I think forks too. i would take them off and lay them on a flat surface and roll them and see if you can see any runout. Or it might just be the fact its not aligned but from the pics it looks like the forks are bent. Bummer.

Ditto...

Dissasemble and check check check, especially used stuff.

Looks to me like there just not installed correctly...
The triple and lowers dont always line up the forks on there own!
Take the wheel between knees, then twist things straight. Helps to have a friend look things over while doing.

As long as everything slides up n down smoothly, you're good to go (provided you have checked to make sure noe damage/out of spec!)

It is n0t unusual to have your forks twist in the triples when you go down. Do what Tek9ine suggested, just loosen the pinch bolts in the triple clamps first. You don't have handlebars for leverage yet. Otherwise, it would appear from the pic you posted that the right leg is bent back below the bottom triple  If thats the case, bummer bro :(

disaasembled front end and recheked forks. they seem to be ok.Im pretty sure the lower is tweaked. I layed it on a flat surface and with the right tube hole flat on table, the left is raised up enough in front edge to slide a steel ruler under it.got in contact with seller and was pleasantly surprised he will make good. says he has another lower for the same bike and will ship it and a few misc. other parts asap.as suggested I was able to wrestle fornt almost square with 2by slid between fork and frame.

Looks like the previous forks I had on my bike. They were twisting out like yours are so I disassembled everything and checked individual fork legs. They checked out so I went to lower clamp. Come to find out after I ran a square on it
I noticed that shaft was tweaked. A little heat and a little love I was able to true it up and the result was near perfect.

You don't always have to dissassemble to tell if forks are bent. Just loosen the fork clamps and spin the forks. If they are bent they will bind and release as you turn them. If they rotate consistently, they are probably straight.

I don't know if upside down forks will behave the same or if you can even spin them, but it works with standard KZ forks.

Try checking the triples separately on a glass table - push down on one corner to see if they rock. That's how I verified a bent upper triple on my 650: the bent one rocked, but the replacement didn't (the spare moved a tad but not much).
