anyone have a gpz550 frame with title for me?

as you might remember i bought a 84 gpz 550 for $100.
i got it cheap because there is no title and he just bought my brothers cbr 900.
i bought it to flip it for a couple bucks.what the hell was i going to do with a 550? i have someone who wants to give me $400 for it as it sits.
i charged the battery for him and have been riding it around the block for a couple days now and it's really starting to grow on me.
i mean i really like this little bike.
i'm still on the fence whether to sell it or keep it.
it has a god aweful rattle can paint job but it runs mint. it even has the factory exhaust and airbox.
it does have a 250 ninja front end on it so the gauges don't mount right.
he gave me all the oe stuff with it.

i really just need a title.

can anyone help me out here?

that is a pretty sweet ride for a hundred $$$ i'd be keeping it for sure myself but what the hell do i know i keep everything.

Some states have a process where you can get a new title for haveing a lien on it. just dont tell the tag office you bought it, you have it bcause you were doing some work or were storeing it and money is owed to you on it. Don't know about NY Jake
