In the middle of a kz1100 project and found that the shaft that pedal attaches to and passes through the metal plate to the actuator and all is frozen with rust. I have taken it off and sprayed it with PB blaster, but I still can't get it to move without hitting it with a hammer. Are there bearings in there or something? Is that part pressed in? Just wondering if anyone has ever run into something like this before. Thanks.
