kz650 swingarm bolt?

Anyone got any leads on getting a stainless swingarm bolt, or anyone got one with chromed ends they want to get rid of?

I was quoted Â£60 (about $90) for a stainless bolt, and thats more than I care to spend, but I can't put the one I have back on cos it'll really let the rest of the work I've done on the bike down.

Perhaps gunkote or plate the area that will be seen after installation?

I soda blasted mine then ran a buffing wheel on it and it looked new when I was done. Is yours rusted or just old looking?

Its actually rusty, not red rust, but heavy dark pitting.

Might go with the gunkote if I can get it, will that be tough enough to endure being held with a wrench when installing?
