Good morning,
I am rebuilding the rear brake caliper on my '82 KZ750 Spectre. It was stuck hard and the dust boot had rotted away. I've got the piston out of the caliper, and I am now cleaning it up and painting it. I am using acetone-based solvent to clean it up and caliper paint.
When I replace the seals and gaskets, is it a good idea to seat them in with some adhesive like Loctite or just put them right-on in?
Thanks,
Steve

use the same brake fluid that you are going to use as a lube for your orings and piston and you wont need or want any kind of sealer around those rubber pieces.
