I am trying to find a set of Bolt on Hand Guards for my KZ1100. Just want to keep some of the rain, wind and cold off the hands.
Are there any out there that will bolt onto the handlebar and come over the hand?

Just got an 82 KZ 1100, working to fix it up as my first bike.

I never thought about that. I ride to work sometimes when it's really cold and that would keep the hands warmer! All I can suggest is looking at dirt bike guards. Don't know how they attach but suspect something could easily be worked out and then be easily removed for warmer riding. Let us know.... :)

A friend of mine had these on his Yammy years ago. I rode it in freeeeezing weather and they really worked great. (they look a bit odd, but they do work)

we used them and hot grips when i was endurance ice racing with the hot grips on low it still put out enough heat to probably make toast. in -40 weather they were incredible. but i think shannon is thinking more along the lines of motocross type rock guards or bark busters for dirt bikes am i right. you should be able to find sets of them at any decent dirt bike shop. by the way how is your bike working (the fence bike ) i like that

I looked at those, are the very big? Do they block the wind pretty well?
I found these at J&P Cycles, I think I am gonna try them.

The bike is running great, just gotta figure out why it won't charge the battery... I think its either the stator or a connection from the Stator... I'll find out this weekend hopefully.

Kawickrice, I would check Dennis Kirk, but I work at J&P Cycles. That would be pretty bad to give a competitor my dollars instead of the company that pays my health benefits for me.

Anyway, I'm gonna try the ones from J&P...

The bike is running great. Just gotta put a Stator in it this weekend if I have time. I truly only put about $200 bucks into the bike when I got it from that fence... Now it purrs like a kitten... With the exception of not charging the battery and that is what the Stator is for.... $120 bucks for that... so the investment has gone up.

Just got an 82 KZ 1100, working to fix it up as my first bike.
