Rear shocks with reservoirs

I'm looking for rear shocks with external reservoirs that will work on my 77 KZ1000. I was hoping that I could find shocks that came stock on some bike that I could pick up for cheap on Ebay. Anyone have any ideas?

If there were such a thing as cheap reservoir shocks, more of us would be running them :laugh: :laugh: Unfortunately cheap is a relatively term. You can rarely find used ZR750 shocks on eBay and they usually go for between US$150 and $200 a set. As you know if you go high end, new reservoirs for your bike can be very expensive. You'll also see reservoir shocks (new) on eBay from China...I'd avoid those.

I have these on my Z1. I picked them up on ebay used but they are far from cheap. They are totally rebuildable and you can still get the parts.

Well so much for that idea! After getting my engine back together, I won't be able to afford the shocks. Maybe next year.
