So, I've been thinking about my front forks. I currently have forks from a 1980 650LTD (E1) on my B1. Now, I'm gonna tear them apart this winter, clean them up and put progressive springs in them. My question is about the damping. Is it roughly similar, or is the E1's damping softer than the B1's? If so I might have to find the damping springs from a B1 to put in my forks.
