thanks for all the help guys..I know the rim that is on the back is not an original z1 wheel cause it is only a 16" so I will have to mesure the width to find out for sure thanks again guys

Yes, that changes the equation a bit...is it a Harley rim or an LTD rim (Kawasaki did produce many bikes with 16" rims)...you can run a slightly fatter tire on an LTD rim than on a stock rim (but still nothing as wide as what is available for current bikes).

yeah I am pretty sure the guy I bought the bike from said the rear rim was from an LTD I wish I had the original wheels cause spokes look soo beautiful, but thats god to know, well I was just thinking about going one size up so like a 130 I guess I will have to measure the width of the rear wheel

I used a 3/8 offset sprocket, no frame mods. Used a spacer on an aluminum back sprocket. I had to countersink flatheads into it.

When running offset sprocket watch out as it may hit the sprocket cover.. On the tire size I have a ltd 16 and I'm running a 140 and its real close to rubbing chain and caliper stay arm but works...the other thing I was thinking of was I was going to use a different swingarm and a 180 rear tire I know there is going to be an offset sproket needed just wondering if anyone would have an idea what offset for a sproket I would need, if anyone has some info on that would be great
thanks
